The AIM Institute for Learning & Research
The AIM Institute for Learning & Research provides professional development that creates and disseminates research-based literacy curricula, technology, and training in the science of reading to help teachers better serve children who are struggling to learn to read. AIM also partners with researchers to provide best-practice intervention strategies to help children with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.
Additionally, AIM delivers interactive, evidence-based teacher training, including accredited courses, that teachers and education leaders use in school districts in more than 30 states. It does this through its technology platform, AIM Pathways, which is designed to address the nation’s low reading proficiency scores by helping teachers effectively work with children who struggle to learn to read.
The AIM Institute for Learning & Research is affiliated with the AIM Academy, a coeducational, independent school located just outside of Philadelphia that provides educational opportunities to children with language-based learning disabilities in grades 1-12.
