The Institute for Medicaid Innovation develops, implements, and distributes evidence-based models of care that improve the lives of Medicaid enrollees. Our three-year grant (2024–2026) supports the Institute for Medicaid Innovation’s Doula Learning & Action Collaborative, which focuses on galvanizing key Medicaid partners, community-based organizations, and doulas to reduce inequities in perinatal care experiences and outcomes. With IMI’s learning collaborative model, the state-based teams work together to identify key barriers and then foster systemic changes to expand and improve doula care within Medicaid programs.
