Project
The DC Charter School Alliance supports and advocates for public charter schools in the District of Columbia. This grant allows kindergarten and first grade teachers, reading specialists, special education managers, instructional coaches, and principals at seven small DC charter schools to receive training in the science of reading with the AIM Pathways to Proficient Reading and Pathways to Literacy Leadership courses. The charter schools include Cedar Tree Academy Public Charter School, Global Citizens Public Charter School, Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School, Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy Public Charter School, Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School, Sela Public Charter School, and Creative Minds International Public Charter School.
