Project

This grant supports the District of Columbia Public Schools Reading Clinic (DCPS Reading Clinic) via the DC Public Education Fund. The DCPS Reading Clinic provides DC Public Schools teachers with ongoing, high-quality training and coaching to deliver structured literacy grounded in the science of reading. The Clinic also leads the work to train DCPS teachers in the science of reading to adhere to the DC Literacy Task Force’s recommendations. This grant allows the Clinic to hire two additional coaches and offer a Dyslexia Interventionist Certificate program for first grade teachers during the 2026-2027 school year.
