Project

ExcelinEd works with state leaders to develop, advance, and implement effective education policy. This grant allows ExcelinEd to host the third annual Train the Trainer convening of state education leaders who are in the process of exploring, developing, launching, or improving a state literacy coaching program. The leaders received training from ExcelinEd’s Dr. Kymyona Burk and experts from the Florida Center for Reading Research on effective practices in literacy coaching. The grant also supports a Literacy Coaching Community for leaders who have attended these trainings to collaborate with one another and seek consultation from ExcelinEd.
